We are pleased to welcome Andy Wyatt and SGS Engineering as a team supplier and partner during the 2021 Bennetts British Superbike Championship season.
Avid racing fans, SGS Engineering will see a selection of their product range displayed and utilised in a working environment during the season: within the SYNETIQ BMW Motorrad race team garage on BSB weekends and in our Moneymore based workshop.
The distinctive SGS logo will be proudly displayed on our SYNETIQ BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR race bikes this term, the racing leathers of riders Andrew Irwin and Danny Buchan and all official team clothing; not forgetting the full team infrastructure that includes our race transporter, garage boards, POS material and VIP Hospitality unit.
SGS Engineering was established in 2003 when director Andy spotted a gap in the market for UK manufactured gas struts that could be built to an exacting standard and distributed quickly over the internet.
From humble beginnings the company has enjoyed tangible growth, now spanning five sites in Derby. When you order with SGS Engineering, you’ll only ever receive a high-quality product. SGS branded products go through the most stringent of quality and performance checks. SGS only ever stock and supply brands they love and trust like Milwaukee Tool – a range of products we will also be using this season at TAS Racing and SYNETIQ BMW.
SGS design and produce NitroLift gas struts in their UK manufacturing facility based in Derby. They are the leading manufacturer of gas struts in the UK and that’s due, in no small part, to their commitment to high quality products, delivered quickly and with unparalleled customer support.
SGS has increased its range of own-brand products – closely controlling the supply and manufacturing process – enabling them to offer a reasonably priced quality range. When you buy an SGS trolley-jack, toolbox, tool chest, compressor, generator or gas strut – you can expect your product to conform to the highest performance, safety and quality standards. They are constantly testing and improving the range with the help of a dedicated Derby based R&D team.
SGS Engineering products are used widely across the UK by avid DIY-ers, business owners and large brands alike. SGS has worked on many large projects, notably the new Wembley Stadium providing SGS NitroLift gas struts for skylights within the famous arena. With 90,000 seats, Wembley is the largest stadium in the UK and second largest in Europe.
