This season’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship reaches its closing stages over the next few weeks, and we at TAS Racing are delighted to be still in the main championship mix with Danny Buchan aboard our SYNETIQ Intelligent Solutions sponsored, all-new official BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR.
This is our second season with title partner SYNETIQ and after a tough 2020, where the Covid-19 pandemic did its best to suffocate global freedom of movement for all, it’s great to see all sponsors and race fans back in the BSB paddocks – as they are undoubtedly the lifeblood of our sport.
Andrew Irwin may have narrowly missed out on the Title Fighters’ Showdown this season, but he will contest the BSB Riders’ Cup for those outside the cut-off – and having won this previously at TAS Racing, there’s plenty of publicity and respect to be gained by challenging for all silverware on offer, in what is regarded as the world’s toughest domestic Superbike championship.
SYNETIQ BMW is now a free-flowing part of the paddock dialect for team, race fans and media alike, and we at TAS Racing are delighted that we’ve been able, in no small part, to increase the brand awareness of this forward thinking company over the past two seasons. The British Superbike paddock, covering eight UK venues, 11 rounds and 33 races, is a great arena for new business and enhanced friendships on both B2B and B2C levels for all involved.
“It’s always a pleasure to see a strong level of engagement between our partners and even more so now, with full customer and client attendance at each round. Working with the team at SYNETIQ has been an enjoyable experience to date and something we very much hope to continue into a third season in 2022,” explained Team Principal Philip Neill.

About SYNETIQ
SYNETIQ Ltd was created in March 2019, following the successful merger of four well established businesses.
As the largest UK owned salvage and vehicle recycling company, SYNETIQ creates intelligent solutions for some of the UK’s leading insurers, fleets and Police forces. SYNETIQ is trusted to process vehicles through auctions, green parts, and recycling processes and is also a provider of software and VRM data solutions.
SYNETIQ has seen significant growth since the merger and is now pushing to raise industry standards in compliance, innovation, value and customer experience. In November 2019, SYNETIQ acquired Motorman, a St Albans-based mechanical services provider. Headquartered in Doncaster, SYNETIQ has over 590 employees at locations across England and Scotland.
SYNETIQ promotes the 4 ‘R’s: Reduce, Re-use, Re-manufacture and Recycle, with recycle being the last resort if a vehicle, part, or material has reached the end of its life.
The final three Bennetts British Superbike Championship rounds for 2021 take place at the following venues:
Oulton Park [September 24/25/26]
